Beirut Airport

Aegean Airlines operates through Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport, the only international airport in Lebanon. At the airport, you will find many duty free shops, a bank, ATMs, foreign exchange points, restaurants, cafés and two prayer rooms (for Christians and Muslims). For seafood lovers, a top-quality Japanese sushi bar is located in the departure zone. There are 15 internet kiosks at the departure gates. To use them, you must buy an internet card (for 30 or 75 minutes) in the duty free area. Wi-Fi is free for the first 30 minutes.

Getting to the Airport

Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) is located 9 km south of Beirut. There is currently no mode of public transportation available connecting the city to the airport. The only safe way to get there is to take a taxi from the city centre after agreeing on the price. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. The airport's operating policy asks that all passengers arrive at the airport three hours before their scheduled flight departure.
