Major airports in Spain
Aegean Airlines operates through two major airports in Spain Barajas International Airport in Madrid and Barcelona-El Prat Airport in Barcelona. There are international flights to and from both airports, as well as connecting flights to all Spanish cities and touristic places of interest. I n both airports there is a variety of duty free shops, restaurants and cafes as well as banks and foreign exchange counters. They also offer Wi-Fi service, which is free of charge for 15 minutes.
Transportation to the Airport in Spain
Barajas is located 12 km from the center of Madrid. It is easily accessible via metro from two stations in downtown Madrid, the Atocha Renfe station and the Madrid Chamartín. The airport is also served by 5 bus lines. Alternately, you can use a taxi. The ride from the center of Madrid costs approximately €30. Barcelona El Prat Airport, located 14 km from the city center, is accessible by bus and train. The taxi ride to the city center will cost you up to €35.
